A gusty wind advisory remains in force for the Northern Line Islands and the Phoenix group. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize threats.

 The weather forecast for the Northern Line islands and Phoenix group was issued at 0510am Sunday 09^th November 2025 and valid until 6pm.

Situation: The Intertropical Convergence Zone [ITCZ] remains slow-moving north of the Northern Line islands extending westward to north of the Kiribati group. 

Northern Line Islands:

Gentle to moderate south-easterly to easterly winds of 06-16kt. Fresh at times

Moderate seas.

Washington:

Today: Partly cloudy with brief showers.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with brief shower.

Fanning:

Today: Sunny apart from isolated brief showers.

A cloud band is moving from the east approaching the Phoenix group, and, is expected to bring showers over the island.
