A gusty winds advisory remains in force for the Northern Line group, especially in areas affected by convective clouds.

Situation: The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) remains slow-moving over the Northern Line Islands, with associated cloud and rain affecting the group. Meanwhile, a trough remains slow moving over the Phoenix Group.                                          

Northern Line Islands:

Gentle south-easterly winds (01 to 05knot). Fresh about rain.

Slight seas.

Today: Occasional showers of rain, heavy at times with isolated thunderstorm.

Tonight: Cloudy with light showers.
