Situation

A trough of low pressure remains further north of the Kiribati group with associated clouds affecting parts of the Northern and Central Islands. Meanwhile, the Intertropical convergence zone remains north of the Northern Line Islands.

 

Advisory Warning

Spring Tide Advisory #07:

Tide predictions for the 18th and 19th for the month of April 2025 indicate sea levels of 2.80 meters and above.  Residents living along the coasts are advised to take preparatory measures to eliminate possible threats.

Gusty wind Advisory #08:

A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Kiribati group and Banaba. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize possible threats.
