Situation

Associated cloud bands from the low-pressure troughs located north of the Northern Group and south of the Southern Group are situated to the east and are moving slowly westward toward the Kiribati Islands. These cloud bands are expected to affect the Kiribati region tonight.

Advisory Warning

Strong Wind Warning #04: A strong wind warning remains in force for the Kiribati group and Banaba, especially in areas affected by convective clouds. The public is advised to take precautions to reduce possible threats.
