Spring Tide Advisory #08:

Tide predictions for the 18th and 19th for the month of April 2025 indicate sea levels of 2.80 meters and above.  Residents living along the coasts are advised to take preparatory measures to eliminate possible threats.

A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Kiribati group and Banaba. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize possible threats.

Situation:  A trough of low pressure remains further north of the northern islands with associated clouds affecting most parts of the Northern, Central Islands and Banaba.

Gentle to moderate south-easterly to easterly winds of 07-15kt. Fresh at times

Moderate seas.
