A gusty wind advisory remains in force over Banaba and the Kiribati group. The public is advised to take precautions to minimize threats.

The weather forecast for the Kiribati group and Banaba issued at 0720am Sunday 09^th November 2025 and valid until 6 pm tonight.

Situation: The Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone remains slow moving north of the Kiribati group with associated cloud and showers affect some parts of the northern group.

Light to moderate easterly to south-easterly winds of 04-15kt. Fresh at times.

Slight to moderate seas.
