Situation: The Intertropical convergence zone remains slow-moving far north of the Northern Islands. Meanwhile a weak trough of low pressure is developing south and is expected to affect the Kiribati group from later tonight.

Gentle to moderate southeasterly winds of 06-16kt. Fresh at times.
Moderate seas.
