A gusty wind advisory remains in force over the Kiribati group. The public should take precautions to minimize threats.

The weather forecast for the Kiribati group and Banaba issued at 0600am Monday 09^th September 2024 and valid until 6 pm.

Situation:  The inter-tropical convergence zone remains north of the Northern Line islands and extends westwards to further north of the Kiribati group. Associated clouds affect some parts of the groups.

Light to moderate south-easterly to easterly winds of 04-15kt.

Slight to moderate seas.
